Trail Three · The Back Roads
Peltzer Family Cellars
A working farm with a crush-house tasting room — rustic tin, string lights, and a pumpkin patch takeover every fall.
Almost every tasting room in the valley is, practically speaking, adults-only, which quietly rules Temecula out for a lot of visiting families. This one does not have that problem. In autumn it stops being a winery visit at all and becomes a full family day out that happens to have wine for the grown-ups.

Before you drive
This page is an independent guide, not the winery. Hours, tasting fees and
reservation rules change season to season — and several rooms are
reservation-only on weekends. Check Peltzer Family Cellars’s own site or call before
building the day around it.
