Trail One · The Spine
Avensole Winery
Tasting room, marketplace, and restaurant at the trail’s west end — convenient first stop coming from town.
Position does a lot of the work: this is the first real winery you meet driving out from Old Town, which makes it the natural place to eat before the day properly starts. Beginning a tasting day on an empty stomach is the most common Temecula mistake there is, and this is the easiest available fix.

Before you drive
This page is an independent guide, not the winery. Hours, tasting fees and
reservation rules change season to season — and several rooms are
reservation-only on weekends. Check Avensole Winery’s own site or call before
building the day around it.
