Trail One · The Spine
Bel Vino Winery
Perched above the road with some of the trail’s best patio views — go late afternoon when the light goes gold.
Elevation is the whole argument here. Rancho California Road runs mostly along the valley floor, so the handful of properties that climb above it get a view the rest cannot buy. Arrive at midday and you are drinking the same wine in flat light, having skipped the only reason to make the turn.

Before you drive
This page is an independent guide, not the winery. Hours, tasting fees and
reservation rules change season to season — and several rooms are
reservation-only on weekends. Check Bel Vino Winery’s own site or call before
building the day around it.
