Mount Palomar Winery

Among the first vines in the modern valley. Italian varieties are the house specialty, and the Mediterranean courtyard is built for slow afternoons.

Vines went in here in 1969, which in Temecula terms is close to the beginning. The house specialty runs Italian, and the Mediterranean courtyard was built for the kind of afternoon that starts as one glass and turns into three hours.
